Emily & Tanja
BIO: EMILY REED
Emily is a best described as a “seeker”. She is continually inspired by Yoga philosophy and Ayurveda to live life to the fullest. She discovered yoga in 2001 whilst searching for a remedy for chronic insomnia. She later encountered the healing power of Ayurveda whilst in Kerala in 2006. Little did she know then that these ancient practices were to open up a deep chasm of intrigue, study and adventure.
What to expect from Emily’s sessions?
Emily teaches a slow meditative flow. Her sessions focus on building strength, stamina and regulating the life force in the body. She encourages you to pause in between poses offering to you time to reflect. You can be sure to chant mantra (silently or out loud) whilst you move- this key tool helps center the mind. Most of all Emily encourages her students to find the balance in their practice for the body, mind and day. Emily is RYT500hrs and ERYT500hrs qualified. She teaches Ayurveda and Yoga on the 200&300hr ISHTA yoga Teacher Trainings in London. For more info see: www.emilyreedyoga.com.
